Following his presentation, there was a facilitated Q&A session and a call to action to promote ongoing SDG advocacy.
The event began with an introduction by chapter president David Tukman and was moderated by Dr. Soraya Fallah, the chapter’s Vice President and Advocacy Chair. Dr. Fallah opened with an overview of the SDGs, introducing all 17 goals to familiarize the audience with this global framework addressing issues like poverty, inequality, and climate action.
