The Family Focus Resource Center understands and strengthens families raising children with special needs through education, advocacy, and family support services.
FFREC is housed within the Michael D. Eisner College of Education at the California State University, Northridge. Programs are sustained through grant funding, sponsorships and donations.
The FFREC is honored by its ongoing association with the Teaching, Learning, and Counseling Consortium (TLC). The consortium consists of the following programs already established in the College of Education:
  • Mitchell Family Counseling Clinic
  • Special Education Literacy Laboratory
  • Los Angeles Times Literacy Center
