Honors Convocation 2017 CSUN- and my honorship

Today at 6 p.m. in front of the Oviatt Library a selected group of students will be honored during CSUN's Honors Convocation.

Honors Convocation is a ceremony designed to celebrate a select group of students on the basis of Scholastic or Personal Achievement. The ceremony typically lasts about 2 hours where students are invested with an Honors Convocation Medallion.

Formal invitations are typically mailed the first week of May.  If you
don’t receive an invitation by mail feel free to stop by the Office of
Student Involvement & Development and we can provide you an additional
invitation, or information at that time.  Our office location, as well as
additional information for this event can be found at the CSUN Commencement &
Honors Convocation website. (www.csun.edu/commencement/honors)

This is a non-ticketed ceremony; however, guests should be aware of the
general security and safety measures for this event which can be found in the
FAQ section of the Commencement Website
(http://www.csun.edu/commencement/faqs/#Security-and-Safety-Measures).  Also,
feel free to invite any special person from CSUN (professors, counselors,
advisors, etc.) who has made an impact on our time as a student.

Parking charges will be waived for those attending the Honors Convocation

Honored students and their guests will join faculty, staff, and
administrators for a reception that will take place immediately following the
ceremony over by the Matador Statue/Matador Square adjacent to the University
Student Union (USU); light refreshments will be served.
