involvement in the United Nation Assocation since Nov 2006

My motivation to get involved with the United Nations Association stems from a lifelong passion for creating global change and advocating for human rights. My journey in this field began with my master’s thesis, where I explored women’s rights and the role of the United Nations in advancing them. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the UN’s critical role in shaping international policies but also fueled my desire to contribute to its mission.

Advocating for global justice has always been central to my work. My commitment to supporting marginalized communities aligns seamlessly with the UNA’s mission to promote peace, security, and justice. I believe my experience as a scholar and consultant enables me to amplify the voices of those who need it most and contribute meaningfully to creating a fairer world.

Education and empowerment are at the heart of my efforts. Through my work, I strive to inspire others to take action on issues like sustainable development, gender equality, and refugee rights. Joining the UNA would allow me to merge my expertise in education with a global perspective, ensuring my contributions resonate beyond local communities.

I also value the opportunity to connect with like-minded changemakers. The UNA provides an incredible platform to collaborate with professionals and activists who share my vision for social justice. By working together, we can influence policy at national and international levels, expanding the impact of our shared mission.

As a published scholar and consultant, I appreciate the UNA’s platform for sharing knowledge and contributing to meaningful discussions. Whether through public speaking, writing, or advocacy efforts, I see this as a chance to use my voice to champion causes close to my heart. Additionally, I aim to shape initiatives aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in education, gender equality, and refugee support—issues I have long been deeply passionate about.

Ultimately, my involvement with the UNA reflects my unwavering commitment to global justice, equality, and empowerment. I am eager to bring my dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit to this important work.
