MENASWA reserach accepted for 31st Annual CSU Student Research Competition

Again, another great things for my research I am humbled to be accepted. My school will send me to San Luis Obispo Each department send one, over all 10 departments in CSUN will send 10 research/researcher. I received the following email from a nice responsible person in my university ; Hedy L. Carpenter, M.A. Director of Graduate Programs, Research and  Graduate Studies: Congratulations on being selected to present at the Statewide Student Research Symposium. Students with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) backgrounds, in particular, are falling significantly behind their non-disabled peers in the majority population. In order to close the achievement gap, administrators and teachers need appropriate training focused on how to best serve the unique needs of CLD students with disabilities. Research on the characteristics and experiences of diverse families provide special education personnel the understanding of a family's cultural framework that is necessary to build effective family-school partnerships. CSUNposium   Annual Student Research and Creative Works Symposium Friday, April 7, 2017 8:00am-4:00pm University Student Union   Purpose The CSUNposium, also known as the “21st Annual Student Research and Creative Works Symposium” is a student conference featuring oral and poster presentations. The purpose is to showcase excellence in scholarly research and creative activity conducted by CSUN students across all academic disciplines. Along with many good ambitious one I am so happy Thank you for your submission to the CSUNposium. We are pleased to inform you that your abstract has been  accepted for a poster presentation .   The event will be held on   Friday, April 7, 2017 .   There will be two poster sessions on the day of the event.
